Marco, a leading distributor of abrasive blasting equipment, has immediate openings for the following positions.

Director of Operations – Davenport, IA

Qualified candidates will have at a minimum a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Purchasing, Supply Chain Management or related area plus 7-10 years of relevant experience performing the following duties: developing and implementing strategic plans for the warehouse, purchasing and logistics functions to accommodate the rapid growth objectives of the company; creating systems for vendor quotes and pricing; recruiting high-quality suppliers and performing contract negotiations; overseeing inbound/outbound transportation functions; implementing and managing FTL, LTL, ocean and rail freight relationships; and inventory/backlog management.

Sales Support Representatives – Davenport, IA

Tired of working retail hours or nights and weekends? Join our Sales Support team! The ideal candidates will have a high school degree and 3-5 years of customer service, sales support or related experience. The position will be responsible for responding to customer inquiries, up-selling and ensuring customer needs are met regarding product selection, order placement, pricing requests, quotations, customer concerns, returns, shortages, adjustments and literature requests. Must have excellent phone skills, be able to multi-task and work well with others.

Logistics Coordinator – Davenport, IA

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Transportation or Distribution or 1-2 years related experience performing the following duties: creating a complete logistics system utilizing technology and strategic sourcing, guiding the freight division to develop cost-saving and efficient ways to move freight, integrating logistics into the sales process, training staff, developing efficient processes and providing excellent customer service. Candidates must have experience shipping from multiple origin points to multiple locations for JIT shipments.

Inside Sales Manager – Davenport, IA

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 10 years experience in sales/marketing. Previous management experience is required. The position will be responsible for coordinating and directing the activities of the Inside Sales Department such as developing annual business plans and directing account development. The Inside Sales manager will determine and formulate sales objectives, policies, and sales programs to establish and achieve sales and strategic goals, with a primary focus on sales budgets, gross margin dollars, gross margin percentage, sales call rate and quote rate. Must be able to work well with others and have a positive ‘can do’ attitude.

Area Sales Manager, Outside Sales – Upper Midwest Territory

The Areas Sales Manager position requires a solutions-oriented consultative selling approach as well as servicing existing customers and prospecting for new business. The ideal candidates for this position will have a strong sales background, a strong interest in technical and mechanical products and applications, and the ability to interact effectively with customers and team member. Success is this position will require solid knowledge of our products as well as our customer’s industries and applications for our products, exercise solid organization skills, route planning, and time management skills, including the ability to manage their business while on the road.
